The Best Bond

Recently the question has been raised "Who is the best Bond?" and being a fan of the adventures of agent 007 I had to really sit and think about the answer; whom indeed? The answer to such a question is tricky and usually gets confused with "who is your favorite bond?"
To be the best Bond you have to exemplify everything that the character Agent 007 stands for. The reason why they are able to assign new agents to the name James Bond and grant them 007 status is because the man is not as important as the symbol. The name Bond is a symbol of a UK super agent that can be counted on to get the job done, no matter what the job may be.
To be a Bond you have to be effortlessly smooth in every and any situation. Which means when the bartender ask you for your drink it should roll off your tongue as cool as your own name does. Style is an essential that comes with the name. It's not just the clothes that Bond wears but the way he wears them and the level of comfort that he exudes while in the clothes. This is a man that can sleep in a full tux without wrinkling it and wake up well rested. Most men have trouble getting the time of day out of most attractive women but the women that Bond comes in contact with are all drop dead gorgeous and he has no problem navigating a conversation to accomplish his goal. In most of the series the Bond girls are actually spies themselves so actually Bond's "interrogation process" can be considered a part of his mission.
In my honest opinion the man that played the Bond character the best is Pierce Brosnan.
Brosnan played Bond four different times from 1995 to 2002.
Golden Eye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World is Not Enough (1999), Die Another Day (2002)
