NY fashion week has ended but London fashion week is just getting started. The looks are making such a splash that I can feel the beat from across the pond. All year I've been talking about how free spirited the Brit's dress and how far outside of the box they think but now you all get to see the differences between domestic styles and those of designers abroad. Things got off well in London with the collection of Topshop Unique which took us all back to a time when things were much simpler, everyones clothes fit and if you didn't have an afro you were a square. Well thats what NY looked like in the 80's. The styles are definitely inspired by the styles of the 80's but aren't so extreme that they can't be worn today. The bleached jean look was a nice touch to complete the look. Also a New York fashion week favorite has made the trip across the pond; Jourdan Dunn (last picture).
