BBC Look Book
The new BBC/ Ice Cream look book is finally here and I believe that it is safe to say we all are in store for another year of classic clothing. Ladies and gentlemen we all have the honor of watching a successful suggestive clothing line grow beautifully.
The sky isn't the limit, it's only the beginning.

Burger King Cologne
Come on now! The fragrance smells like meat? I'm sorry but that's just stupid.

Teyana Taylor for Black Beat
I'm a fan of these looks. The shoot was obviously styled but it was done by a good stylist because the looks aren't far from anything that Teyana would wear on her own so it would be safe to say that she feels comfortable in these looks. That is most important when working with a client, the fact that they are comfortable, it helps build trust and fuels the relationship between client and stylist. My personal favorite look is the "taste the rainbow" look; very intriguing.

The New Bape Varsity
Bask in the essence of the recreation of what was already an amazing jacket. If anyone ever tells you recreating an original is a waste of time, punch that person in the face. This varsity was actually released in a previous season but has now returned with some additions. It's like hitting the refresh button on your favorite site, there is bound to be a new ad every time. This is definitely a must have item for fans of Bathing Ape.

Chanel 2009 Pre-Fall Show Video
In an interview when asked "How do you come up with these designs?" Karl simply replied "How do you breathe?" "Do you think about breathing?" Mr. Lagerfeld is not to be taken lightly.

Zac Posen 2009 Pre-Fall Show
Hey doll, listen up! We's gonna take a trip, you and me; Yea! A nice daisy down the road. (Biddie ask) Where we going? Never you mind where we going just get in the car and don't touch nothing; ya hear?
What that broad didn't know was that Zac Posen would not only be taking her but the entire fashion world back to a time when stars were as bright as stars and entertainment was actually entertaining (go figure). You get where he was going with this collection right? Old hollywood is our destination, so just sit there and don't touch anything as we go back in time. The 40's were some good years weren't they? Well lets all enjoy some good clothes and reminisce.

Bill Blass is Feeling it.
Legendary couturier Bill Blass passed in 2002 and left a lifetime legacy in his name. The line has been picked up by Peter Som as the creative director but now due in large part to the current unstable economy, the line has been deemed terminally ill. The New York Times reports, the doctor has given the Fashion house until Friday to live. The showrooms will be closed, the store will be shut down and more people will be out of work.
Farewell Blass, you will be missed.

Insight 2008 Holiday Collection
This is the most eclectic offering of mens clothing that I have seen in quite some time. This line is so well put together that I just had to share it with you all. There is something here for everyone, the collection ranges from vest and tee's to oxfords and bow ties. The cuts of the clothes are flattering and the attention to detail is something to be admired. Enjoy.
Bow ties and skateboards, it doesn't get much better.

Beacon's Closet
If you into vintage clothing and you've been to some thrift stores but they haven't fed your vintage appetite maybe the problem is that you haven't been in the closet yet. This is the only closet that I will ever advise you to go into; Beacon's Closet. This is high on the list of great stores in Brooklyn but don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself.

It's all over now. Forget everything that you thought you knew and begin to learn.
Honestly who has this much style? I'll wait for the answer...

"Just Touched Down In London Town" Kanye West
Kanye West was serious about wanting to be more than just a celebrity designer. What he means by that is that he actually wants to design the clothes himself and he wants it to be good. Most celebrity designers either have a team of designers or they work closely in a partnership with a really good designer to do their collection. However Mr. West is soon to move to London to intern at LV headquarters as well as some other fashion houses for the experience needed to become the fashion designer that he really wants to be. He will still be making music just not as much as he does now, according to him he'll make music "on the weekend". In my opinion this is a good move for West as a designer because the best way to become something that you want is to go for it and he is definitely going for it by moving to London.

Winter on 57th St.
This is what winter on 57th street looks like. Marc Jacobs denims and Y-3 trainers, don't even ask about the bag because it is out of this world. It's inspiring to see people walking around this fashionable, if you are as competitive as I am then when you see people like this guy in your mind your thinking: "Thats cool but I could do it cooler". That's a good way to think because you acknowledge the fact that he is wearing the look right and at the same time it shows that you don't have self confidence issues. Keep your eyes peeled when out and about in NY because pedestrians always hand out styles for free.
Do you hand out styles too?

A Quote by Prince
Stiletto Heel Event: 2008 Giorgio Armani
What you are looking at is so much more than just a heel, what you are viewing is artwork for the feet. The things we buy to cover up what's inside actually send messages about the real person wearing the clothes. The shoes don't make the woman but the women bought the shoes and the shoes make the woman look better. Be weary of the messages that you are sending.
