I know alot of you L&F readers were concerned about the other half of L&F; Coolness P. You've read about him in the intro, you've read one post from him but you don't really know much about him or what he stands for or how he feels about most of the topics that I tackle on a daily basis. Some of you feel its unfair that I do all of the work while others feel as though he is not a factor. Well hopefully this 3 part video interview will help clarify this situation or give you a little bit more of P's perspective

Live Life Lavishly or Just Dont Live

Now this line is cool. There's alot of screen printing and even some creative stitching. It reminds me of Stussy especially with the Big Daddy Kane shirt. Overall I think this is a very wearable line, right now they are only producing shirts and outer wear but thats all you really need in a leisure day outfit. Once again we see the clothes with a message, this message is Live Life Lavish insinuating that by purchasing the clothes and wearing the clothes you would in fact be living a lavish life. I don't think that clothes determine how lavish you live your life but hey to each his own and it's a good marketing plan anyway. So handclaps to the designers and models in this piece of the Goldmine Fashion Show puzzle.

The A.L.I.E.N's Have Landed...

The A.L.I.E.N's have landed and their fashionable?!?! Yes that is correct the Aliens have landed right on a Goldmine Fashion Show runway. A.L.I.E.N stands for A Legion In Every Nation; thats deep. Personally I like it, I think that its a great SoHo line. I know SoHo isn't an official fashion style but it should be so I wont stop saying it. The A.L.I.E.N line is fun, works well everyday and there's a story behind it. Now who doesn't love a good story? Follow the lateboots link to the right for the mother goose side of things. All I'll say is that these guys have always been amongst us, we just haven't been paying attention.

Think GOLD!

You know fashion is not always about what I say it is, most of the time it is but not always. It's about you finding out what you look good in and what you like to do. Before today I would have condemned excessive matching but for some reason Blessing has softened my heart towards the matter, no thats not a mistake her real name is Blessing. Now back to the fit...I don't know if its because its gold but for some reason I don't disagree with this. I think she's definitely brave for wearing this combo but thats what I like about it so much. She took a chance and she did something that she liked and look at the smile on her face; she's confident. Most people spend hours getting dressed because they don't want to take fashion risk. So to those people I say learn from this one instance shown above and run the fashion red light every now and then.

 Have fun for once.

Goldmine Fashion Show preview...

When I first spoke about the Goldmine Fashion Show you probably read the post and didn't really pay it any mind but if you missed it feel bad, no feel terrible because it was great. Everything went on smoothly, the clothes looked good, the models were on point, the music was clear and the environment was unparalleled. Good show. The featured lines were: Award Tour, Lethal Inspiration, A.L.I.E.N and Triple L Society. Over the remainder of the week I'll be giving you an in-depth look at the entire show from beginning to end.
