The best way to describe this seasons Dolce and Gabbana collection is a reach. This collection goes from a very classic polished look to a very modern, even futuristic chic. The futuristic look is usually achieved through construction, deconstruction or the cut of the clothes but here we see the futuristic look as a result of pieces like the big pink patches, woven silk blazer, the smooth blend of materials on the vest above and the shinny three piece suit that resembles an oven mitt and looks flame retardant. Dolce and Gabbana are never short on amazing pieces that most designers don't have the mind to design and in my honest opinion this may be one reach that works out in their favor. Right now consumers are looking for something new, something that they haven't seen before and ladies and gentlemen this is it.
