Central Park Summer Stage: July 20th

Summer Stage is a free concert that is put on in Central Park through-out the summer featuring artist from different genre's every show. This summer there will be appearances by every kind of artist from Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and I- Wayne to Santo Gold and Kid Cuti.

The scene depicted above is the line to get into the concert on July 20th. The line stretched from 72nd St. all the way back down to 59th St. and was filled with a mixed crowd of over 600 people that couldn't wait to enjoy the show.
Inside there was a feeling of togetherness as a mellow vibe blew through the air and over the crowd. I wasn't even thought of when Woodstock occurred in 1969 but I've seen video's of it and I've heard people talk about the atmosphere and in my opinion this atmosphere early at Summer Stage was reminiscent of Woodstock.
Before long the crowd got thick and the show is about to start, DJ Blaq Starr is about to come on stage and start the show off right, the crowd is anxious for any reason to scream and the anticipation is building as the stage crew fixes microphones and test out sound.
I will be giving you the behind the scene's look at how the whole show turned out and who else was there that didn't hit the stage.
